  We have a genuine passion for exploring and connecting with our world neighbors. We strive to introduce viewers to other cultures through making personal connections in humorous and meaningful ways. We show viewers that neither travel nor other cultures, despite obvious differences, should be feared.

We also hope to exchange travel knowledge with and gain inspiration from the Free Independent Traveler (FIT) community worldwide. To help out the community and make the journey that much better for one another is at the heart of the independent travel experience!

We started Broken Compass because travel is the best education one can hope for in this life. It will teach the traveler about themselves as well as our world. Independent travel will introduce perspectives of life that the traveler cannot get at home. 

Our goal is to entertain and educate by earnestly showcasing our host's mistakes, follies, and fears in foreign, austere environments, all the while inspiring others to leave their comfort zones, and to bring a new level of cultural awareness to our viewers. This is an adventure travel show unlike any other!
